Group therapy for DDA/DDD in Piaseczno. Regain control over your life and relationships.

Do you feel that the past still controls your present? Join the semi-open therapeutic group for DDA/DDD in Piaseczno. Led by Adrian Sawicki. Start: February 2026. Check the details and sign up.

Do you know that feeling? On the outside, everything looks perfect – you have professional success, you are resourceful and responsible. But inside, you feel like you are still that fearful child who must earn acceptance, be "perfect," or stay alert to every signal of danger.

If you grew up in a family with an alcohol problem (DDA) or in a dysfunctional home (DDD – emotional coldness, violence, parental absence), these patterns do not disappear with age. They still operate, only now they sabotage your adult life and relationships.

In the Space of Introspection in Piaseczno, we are opening registrations for a therapeutic group that will help you break this cycle.

Is this group for you?

The DDA/DDD syndrome is not a sentence; it is a collection of learned reactions that once allowed you to survive. However, today they can be a source of suffering. We invite you to the group if you feel that:

  • Your life is controlled by fear – of judgment, of making mistakes, of rejection.

  • You have difficulties in close relationships – you fear intimacy ("they will hurt me") or are in a panic about loneliness ("they will leave me").

  • Setting boundaries is a struggle – you have trouble saying "no," and taking care of your needs triggers paralyzing guilt.

  • Emotions are a mystery – either you don't feel them (emptiness), or they overwhelm you without warning (outbursts of anger, crying), and you can't name them.

  • You are in constant tension, the source of which you do not understand.

Why a semi-open group? The power of "here and now" relationships.

Our group operates in a semi-open format. What does this mean? The group has a core of regular participants, but at certain times, new people can join.

This is not a random choice. Such a structure best reflects natural social life. It allows for work in a safe environment while simultaneously teaching flexibility and coping with change (someone leaves, someone joins). It is an ideal training ground for new social behaviors.

What will you gain from group therapy?

During weekly meetings, under the guidance of an experienced therapist, you will work on deeply changing the quality of your life.

1. Corrective relational experience In the group, you can experience something that may have been lacking at home: being seen, heard, and accepted without having to play roles (Hero, Scapegoat, or Rescuer). This heals old wounds in relationships.

2. Working on a "living organism" (Here and Now) We will not just "talk about problems." We will work on what is happening between participants at that moment. How you react to others in the group reflects your behaviors in private life. This allows you to notice and change them.

3. Learning emotions anew You will learn to recognize, name, and express what you feel – including difficult emotions like anger, shame, or sadness – in a safe way, without fear of rejection.

4. Setting boundaries without guilt The group is a safe space to practice assertiveness. You will learn to take responsibility for yourself while also giving responsibility to others for their emotions and choices (no more over-responsibility!).

5. Knowledge and understanding (Psychoeducation) You will understand the mechanisms that drive you. You will learn how the past influences your present and how to separate one from the other.

The facilitator

The process will be led by Adrian Sawicki – a therapist with many years of experience working with addicted and co-addicted individuals, as well as those with DDA/DDD syndrome. His style is based on authenticity, mindfulness, and creating a safe framework in which each participant can work at their own pace.
